Meet the Board

Our nonprofit organization is a 501 (3 )(C )

Tax-exempt nonprofit. Haneef started this organization as a place where youth could grow and become their best selves. A safe place and a way to help the community come together. Haneef saw a deeper need, and that’s what gave birth to the movement of uplifting the family unit. She wanted to do so by ensuring families could receive their basic needs. With those needs being met, the family unit could thrive as a whole, We wanted to make mental health and counseling a positive thing in our community. by providing tools & resources for each family so they can heal and love correctly.

Jamaal is our Business manager, always working closely with our CPA (1-800-accountant), 

ensuring all taxes are accounted for and we stay compliant at all times. Jamaal is the coordinator of our men’s events called the "

"I AM HIM BRUNCH". Our organization collaborates with the entire board to deliver the best experience. He’s also the coordinator of the outreach programs geared to giving back to our community. Ie, Food drives, diaper drives, resources, gift cards, etc.

 

Background:  Professionally, Jamaal Has his AA in Business & BA in Administration in Health Care Science. Currently working on his BSN and then Master's in APN/ NP ( Nurse Practitioner )

Fun Fact: Jamaal loves to ride his motorcycle; it's his peaceful time, taking long rides on the highway.

Oversees all of the backend day-to-day tasks. He’s passionate about making sure things are in order and we stay in compliance at all times. By working with Coffey & Biz.  Samaad wants this organization to be its best, so we can be our best in the community.

 

Background: Professionally, Samaad is a Certified Welder ( Tig, Mig, Stick),

Certified Nurse Assistant &

Certified Phlebotomist in two States

Now in Nursing school ( For Registered Nursing)

Fun Fact: Samaad plays bass guitar and is a true gamer.

Sevan is the one who keeps our books in order. Ensure donations are counted, and whoever donated receives a letter from our organization for tax purposes. Working closely with our business attorney ( Merissa V Grayson), He’s truly vital to the success of this nonprofit organization. He gives us the hard truths regarding numbers and where we can improve. He also sees to it that we understand how important donations are to continue to run a successful nonprofit organization.

 

 Background: Professionally, Sevan is currently a Certified Nurse Assistant &

Certified Phlebotomist.  

Working on his AA in Psychology  & then majoring in BSP.

 

Fun Fact: Sevan is a polyglot speaking 

(Spanish & Mandarin) Sevan plays 4 instruments & writes music. He's also a published author.
